Hello, World (and English 549)

Hi there! My name is Jen, and I'm your physically-absent-but-virtually-present member of the online publishing class. I'm a Ph.D. student in Rhetoric and Professional communication (emphasis in tech comm) at NMSU; this is my third year at NMSU, and my first year as a PhD-er. I live in Cruces with my hubby and a large black cat. I'll be managing the online publishing wiki this semester, and I encourage all of you to contribute to the site throughout the course.
